• One that must be done in our dental clinic: It consists of applying a whitening gel that is chemically activated, it offers surprising results in approximately one hour. It's safe and effective, delivering a brighter, whiter smile after just one appointment.

 

• The other bleaching is done at home. The patient is given a whitening kit and a personalized tray for the placement of the gel. Whitening gels contain potassium fluoride, which helps strengthen enamel, decrease sensitivity and prevent cavities. This treatment lasts approximately one week, although the results are seen from the first night.

 

Our dental clinic recommends both teeth whitening together to achieve optimal results. We use an innovative, fast, comfortable to use, effective and totally harmless treatment, with which results can be seen from the first days of application.

 

In general, there are no contraindications, unless the patient presents symptoms of excessive sensitivity in the teeth or excessive consumption of coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco, as this will reduce the effect of whitening.

 

Before carrying out any of the treatments, it is advisable to carry out an appropriate examination by a dentist about the possible indications or contraindications of dental whitening and to evaluate if it is convenient.

 

Something important to keep in mind is that natural teeth whiten, but crowns, veneers and fillings do not, maintaining their original color.
